To install a Chrome extension locally from a folder, follow these steps:

1. Download the Extension .zip file to a safe place, and unpack / unzip the file.
2. Open Google Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions in the address bar.
3. In the top right corner of the extensions page, enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch.
4. Click on the "Load unpacked" button that appears after enabling Developer mode.
5. In the file browser that opens, navigate to and select the folder containing your extension files.
6. Click "Select Folder" (or equivalent) to load the extension.
7. Chrome will install the extension, and you should see it appear on the extensions page.

To install an Edge Browser extension locally from a folder, follow these steps:
